Please Note: All items are sold as-is and where-is with no warranty expressed or implied. There is a 15% buyer premium that applies to all purchases as does VA sales tax. Receive a 3% discount off the premium by paying with cash or good check.

General Auction Terms & Conditions

Thank you for bidding with Lucky Dog Auction & Realty, Inc.! Please take a few minutes to review our auction terms before placing a bid.

By registering and placing a bid, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

Buyer's Premium

A Buyer's Premium will be added to all purchases.

• 15% when paying by credit or debit card
• 12% when paying by cash, check, cashier's check, or wire transfer

Applicable Virginia sales tax will be collected unless a valid tax exemption certificate is provided before payment.

Credit Card Authorization

A $5.00 credit card authorization may appear as a pending transaction on your card when you register to bid. This is not a charge and is used only to verify that your payment method is valid.

Lucky Dog Auction & Realty does not collect or keep these funds. The authorization will typically disappear within 1–2 business days, depending on your bank or credit card issuer.

If you do not make any purchases, you will not be charged.

Payment

Payment is due within 24 hours of the auction's end, unless otherwise stated in the auction details.

Accepted forms of payment include:

• Cash
• Check
• Cashier's Check
• Visa
• Mastercard
• Discover
• Wire Transfer ($20 wire transfer fee applies)

Credit card payments are limited to $5,000.00.

Items cannot be removed until they have been paid for in full.

Item Condition

All items are sold AS-IS, WHERE-IS, with no warranties or guarantees, expressed or implied.

While we strive to provide accurate descriptions and photographs, all descriptions are provided as a guide only. We encourage all bidders to attend the scheduled preview and inspect items before bidding.

All sales are final.

Preview

Preview dates and times are listed with each auction.

We strongly encourage bidders to inspect items before placing a bid. Unless specifically stated otherwise, items have not been tested.

Bidding

Every bid placed is a binding contract to purchase.

Please bid carefully. Bids cannot be canceled or withdrawn.

Lucky Dog Auction & Realty reserves the right to refuse or revoke bidding privileges at its sole discretion.

Online Bidding

Our online auctions feature staggered closing with automatic bid extensions.

If a bid is placed during the final seconds of a lot, bidding will automatically extend to allow all bidders a fair opportunity to continue bidding.

Lucky Dog Auction & Realty is not responsible for internet outages, technical difficulties, or missed bids resulting from circumstances beyond our control.

Pickup

Pickup dates and times are listed with each auction.

Please plan to remove your purchases during the scheduled pickup period.

If you are unable to attend pickup, please make arrangements for someone else to retrieve your items.

Loading

Buyers are responsible for bringing adequate help, proper vehicles, straps, boxes, blankets, packing materials, and any equipment necessary to safely remove their purchases.

All loading is performed at the buyer's own risk. Lucky Dog Auction & Realty is not responsible for damage to vehicles, trailers, equipment, or personal injury that may occur during loading or removal.

Shipping

Shipping is available only on firearms and must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.

Buyers are responsible for all shipping, insurance, transfer, and handling costs.

Failure to Pay

Invoices not paid within 24 hours of the auction's end may result in:

• Suspension of bidding privileges
• The credit card on file being charged, when permitted
• Collection of any amounts owed

Items Not Picked Up

Items not picked up during the scheduled pickup period may be considered abandoned unless prior arrangements have been approved by Lucky Dog Auction & Realty.

Late pickups are subject to a $7.00 per day storage fee.

Lucky Dog Auction & Realty will hold items for three (3) days following the scheduled pickup date and time. Any items not picked up within that period, unless prior arrangements have been approved, may be considered abandoned and may be resold, donated, or otherwise disposed of without refund.

Auctioneer's Rights

Lucky Dog Auction & Realty reserves the right to:

• Correct catalog errors or omissions
• Withdraw items before or during the auction
• Reject or refuse any bid
• Resolve bidding disputes
• Cancel or reopen bidding when necessary
• Combine or divide lots
• Refuse service to anyone

The Auctioneer's decisions are final.

Limitation of Liability

Lucky Dog Auction & Realty acts solely as agent for the seller.

We are not responsible for errors in descriptions, internet interruptions, accidents, theft, weather events, acts of God, or any damages arising from participation in the auction.

Responsibility for purchased items transfers to the buyer immediately upon being declared the successful bidder.

Acceptance of Terms

By registering and placing a bid, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
