Item Acceptance Policy:
To provide the best possible experience for both our buyers and sellers, Lucky Dog Auction & Realty reserves the right to refuse any item that is unsafe, prohibited by law, excessively damaged, in poor condition, excessively dirty or otherwise does not meet our quality standards.
All consignments are subject to review by our staff. Acceptance is based on several factors, including an item's condition, authenticity, market demand, anticipated auction value, and overall suitability for our auctions. Acceptance of previous consignments does not guarantee acceptance of future items.
Lucky Dog Auction & Realty reserves the sole and absolute discretion to accept or decline any item for consignment.
If you are unsure whether your item is appropriate for auction, we encourage you to contact us before transporting it to our facility. In many cases, clear photographs and a brief description will allow us to determine whether your item is suitable for consignment.
Please refer to the list below for specific items that we will not accept:
Furniture: Mattresses and box springs - Furniture with excessive wear, stains, odors, mold, or pet damage - Broken or unstable furniture - Particle board or heavily damaged flat-pack furniture - Large entertainment centers and oversized wall units (unless approved in advance)
Household Goods: Used bedding, pillows, or personal linens - Damaged cookware or kitchen items - Mismatched china - Broken décor or home accessories
Electronics & Appliances: Non-working or untested electronics - Items missing essential parts, power cords, or accessories
Clothing & Personal Items: Used everyday clothing or shoes - Used cosmetics or personal hygiene products - Open or expired consumable products
Children's Items: Used car seats - Cribs or bassinets that do not meet current safety standards - Recalled children's products - Breast pumps or other personal-use infant products
Books & Media: Encyclopedias - Reader's Digest collections - Outdated textbooks - VHS tapes or obsolete media (unless collectible)
Items in Poor Condition: Water-damaged items - Moldy or mildewed items - Infested items - Excessively dirty items - Broken, incomplete, or unsafe merchandise
