Please Note: All items are sold as-is and where-is with no warranty expressed or implied. Lucky Dog Auction is a licensed FFL dealer. All local, state, and federal laws apply. There is 15% buyer premium on all items and Virginia State Sales Tax (5.3%) applies to all purchases. Receive a 3% discount off the premium by paying with cash or check. There is a $15 transfer fee for up to 3 firearms. 4 or more is a $20 transfer fee.
Background checks are conducted on the premises at time of payment. Please bring a valid id with your current address. Please bring a concealed weapons permit to purchase more than one handgun at a time. If you do not have a concealed weapons permit you may only purchase one handgun per 30 days. If you have renewed your drivers license 30 days must have passed since that renewal date to purchase a firearm.
This is a legally binding agreement.

Payment Options: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Check, Wire Transfer, and Cash Every item must be paid in full BEFORE REMOVAL.
Payments must be made within 24 hours of the auction’s ending unless otherwise noted on a multiple-day pickup or if other arrangements have been made prior. No Items and/or their title will be released until full payment clears.
Lucky Dog Auction & Realty, INC reserves the right to charge the credit card on file for the total purchase price plus $7 per business day payment fee for invoices not paid within the allotted time period.

Cash and wire transfers in any amount will be accepted. Cash payments over $10k will require Form 8300 (IRS) to be completed. Checks of $5,000.00 or greater will be accepted only with a bank guaranty letter or with prior approval from Lucky Dog Auction & Realty, INC. Credit Cards will be accepted only for charges up to $5,000.00, and only after authorization (via website or email) or in-person signatures are obtained from the cardholder. Lucky Dog Auction & Realty, INC reserves the right to hold assets and/or certificates of title until funds availability is confirmed.
We are a Licensed Federal Firearms Licensed Dealer. All Federal/State/Local Laws Apply.
Unless you have a VA Concealed Handgun Permit, you can only purchase one handgun per month in the state of Virginia.
IF you have a VA Concealed Handgun Permit, there are no limits on the amount of handguns you may purchase.You can purchase as many long guns as you wish with a satisfactory background check approved by Virginia State Police.
Background Checks are conducted on site at the time of pick up. Please do not bid if you cannot legally own a firearm.
Cost to transfer firearms is $15.00. The $15 flat fee will be added to your invoice. If you transfer 4 or more guns in the same day the fee will be an additional $5 equating to a flat $20 fee. The $20 fee is only applicable to purchasers who are registering 4 or more guns at a time.
Current Photo ID with current physical address is required for all firearm purchases. (PO Box does NOT meet requirement). You must have a state issued id with CURRENT physical address.
We cannot accept expired Drivers Licenses or Expired Concealed Carry Licenses.
If your ID has been recently renewed: 30 days must have elapsed since the date of issue of an original or duplicate driver’s license unless a copy of the Virginia DMV Driver’s record shows the original date of issue was more than 30 days.
Taxes and Titles: All Items and Buyer Premiums are subject to state and local taxes.
Everything will be sold As-Is Where-Is; without guarantee or warranty expressed or implied. Items become the sole responsibility of purchaser. All sales and bids are final!
Bidder Contract: In order to bid at this auction you must meet registration requirements. By registering and obtaining a bidders number you are demonstrating that you fully understand, accept and agree to all conditions and terms set forth for this auction, whether in writing or implied verbally. When using our online auction services you are making firm commitments to purchase said item(s) and are entering into a legal and binding contract. Bids may not be cancelled or retracted for any reason. Non-paying bidders or fraudulent bidding will subject you to legal recourse and possible criminal charges including any fraud and/or interstate commerce violations.
You also acknowledge that the Internet may be an unreliable and error prone network. Lucky Dog Auction & Realty, INC will not guarantee that bids placed online will always be transmitted to or received by the auctioneer in a timely fashion. You agree to hold Lucky Dog Auction & Realty, INC and their employees harmless for any interruptions in online bidding. Further, the auctioneer has the sole discretion to accept or refuse any bid.
Registration Authorization:
• Registration authorization is required for first time bidders prior to bidding and will be authorized on your credit card. The $50.00 is held by your individual bank or credit card company according to the length of time that they hold authorizations. This is NOT a charge from the auction company and is similar to putting down a credit card to hold a hotel reservation.
• If you do not make any purchases, you will have no charges against your account.
• This authorization is separate from your purchases and will not be applied to your final payment as it is ONLY authorized and not charged to your account.
Preview:
• Preview is an “open house” to allow customers to inspect items prior to bidding. You acknowledge that you have the right and responsibility to inspect the item(s) personally, or to have a third party representative inspect the item(s) for you. That by bidding on an item you have agreed to accept that item in its present condition at its present location and with the description provided whether accurate or not.
• Preview is highly recommended so that you may discern the quality, size, condition, weight, item location, and all other variables that are difficult to convey in a photo. • Unless specifically noted in the description, it is safe to assume the items have not been tested. Buyer is responsible to verify the caliber, safety, and integrity of any and all firearms.
• All information contained in descriptions in catalog and Internet are made with auction company's knowledge and information, but are not guaranteed.
• Bidder/Buyer assumes all responsibility to determine the correct information, including but not limited to kind, age, year, model condition, make, serial number, etc. No sale shall be invalidated by inaccuracies, defects, damaged goods, or incorrect descriptions. This is a legally binding agreement.
Staggered Closing:
• Timed Online only Auction Close. Timed online auctions will begin to close on the date and time listed.
• Lots will remain open until no bids have been placed within the last 59 seconds. Timed online auctions normally close at a rate of three lots per minute.
• Lucky Dog Auction & Realty, INC reserves the right to close multiple lots per minute at their discretion. This feature will close the bidding in intervals. This feature works great with the auto-extend feature to closely emulate a “live” auction. Upon your accepted bid of an item, that item shall immediately become your responsibility and be at your risk (whether you have paid for that item or not).
Bid Notification: If you have been outbid, you will be notified by email or phone notification (app users) ONLY UNTIL the last two minutes of the item’s scheduled closing time. To quickly review your bids and see if you have won, you can utilize the “My Items” feature. Items that you are the “high bidder” or have been outbid on will be clearly marked.
Winning Bidder Notification: You will be contacted by email with an invoice listing any items you have won. This email will provide a link for payment if you prefer to pay online via credit card prior to pickup.
Buyer Responsibility: From the moment auctioneer deems items sold, it becomes the sole responsibility of buyer. Reasonable care will be made by auction company to safeguard purchases, but in the event of theft, vandalism, accidental, or purposeful damage, negligence and/or an Act of God, Buyer agrees to hold Lucky Dog Auction & Realty, INC harmless.
Warranty: All information contained herein is true and correct to the best of auction company's knowledge, but it is in no way guaranteed as to the accuracy of description made. Any mention of an item’s condition is not an official grading of the item’s condition. Every item is sold 'as is where is' without a warranty as to usefulness or merchantability. Bidder/Buyer has opportunity during inspection/preview days prior to auction to inspect or have inspected by third party all items contained in this auction.
Lucky Dog Auction & Realty, INC. and its Employees act merely as agents for sellers. All auctions are with reserve unless specifically stated otherwise. Reserves, if any, ARE NOT disclosed unless advertised as 'ABSOLUTE.' Auctioneers at their discretion may place a reserve bid on behalf of the seller. All final bids are subject to the seller's confirmation. Only the top bidder will be contacted as to the status of his/her bid.
While the information we provide on item(s) is deemed correct, no warranties are expressed or implied as to any items being sold and you agree to purchase and accept the item in an as-is condition. Information on items is obtained by us from the sellers and you hereby agree to hold harmless Lucky Dog Auction & Realty, INC and their Employees for any errors or omissions regarding the item(s) being sold. This information includes but is not limited to year, model, machine or engine hours, physical condition, options, features and other data pertinent to the value of the item.
ALL ITEMS ARE SOLD AS-IS WHERE-IS unless specific factory or seller issued warranties are listed in the item description.
Hold Harmless: You agree that Lucky Dog Auction & Realty, INC. its employees, and their sellers are not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged items and will not reimburse or discount items for any type of loss. Buyers are responsible for any costs incurred to prepare their item(s) for transport and/or shipping. This includes but is not necessarily limited to the cost of any rigging, disassembly, special loading requirements, transport, packaging, insurance and all other costs related to physical transfer of their item(s). You agree to remit payment and remove from the auction property any purchases within the stated time for the auction being conducted. You further understand and agree that failure to remove items in the stated time for the auction will subject you to moving and storage fees unless prior arrangements have been made.
Abandonment Policy: Lucky Dog Auction & Realty, INC provides this Abandonment Policy to inform you of our policies and procedures regarding any purchased item(s)/property that has not been removed by a buyer in a timely manner. Upon winning the bid for an item(s), after paying for item(s) purchased, a buyer is obligated to remove the item(s) from the auction site within a timely manner. Lucky Dog Auction & Realty, INC may deem a buyer's failure to claim and remove equipment/ purchases within 10 Business days following the close of an auction as evidence of buyer's intention to abandon the property. In these instances, Lucky Dog Auction & Realty, INC may take action that is adverse to buyer's interest in the property, including, but not limited to steps to dispose of the property. Disposition of property may include a variety of approaches based upon the buyer's purchase price of the property as follows: a. Removing and disposing as the company sees fit. b. Allowing seller to retain or scrap. c. Selling the item(s), whereby Lucky Dog Auction & Realty, INC will remit the sales proceeds to the buyer, less selling and advertising expenses, storage costs, plus 35% administrative fee. If a buyer has not removed the purchased item(s) from selling location within 5 business days after the close of the auction with the winning bid, the buyer will incur a $7 storage fee per day.
